About Sign Lists

Sign Lists is a sub-project of the Digital Corpus of Cuneiform Lexical Texts, directed by Niek Veldhuis (PI). Sign Lists publishes editions and translation of all cuneiform sign lists, dating from the middle of the third millennium until the end of the first millennium BCE.

Sign Lists is a member-project of the Open Richly Annotated Cuneiform Corpus (ORACC) consortium and utilizes the tools and standards developed for ORACC by Steve Tinney.

The project is supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities for the years 2013-2015.
