Assyrian Royal Rituals and Cultic Texts

This subproject of State Archives of Assyria online (SAAo) includes a web version of the introduction of the book book Simo Parpola, Assyrian Royal Rituals and Cultic Texts (State Archives of Assyria, 20), 2017, as well as fully searchable and richly annotated (lemmatised) editions of the fifty-five Neo-Assyrian texts edited in that book. The editions presented on SAAo/SAA20 have been adapted from Simo Parpola, Assyrian Royal Rituals and Cultic Texts (State Archives of Assyria, 20), 2017, and they were lemmatised by Mikko Luukko, 2017, as part of the research programme of the Alexander von Humboldt Chair in the Ancient History of the Near and Middle East at LMU Munich (Karen Radner, Humboldt Professorship 2015). The annotated edition is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike license 3.0.
