Rulers

The pages included under the "Rulers" tab are intended to provide general information about the rulers of Sūḫu whose texts are included on this website, as well as some general information on their official inscriptions. Click on the links to the left (or below) to view that information. In addition, there is a page that includes details on twelve inscriptions that may be attributed to one of the two known first-millennium-BC governors of Sūḫu; click here [http://oracc.museum.upenn.edu/suhu/rulers/miscellaneousinscriptions/index.html] to view that page. Note that the links to the left are arranged alphabetically, rather than chronologically (as they are below).
