The Lexical Text from Ekalte

Excavations at Ekalte have yielded one lexical text (Tall Munbaqa-Ekalte 2, 81A), a bilingual fragment of the list of professions MB Lu₂.

The cuneiform texts from Ekalte are dated slightly earlier than the corpus from nearby Emar, just south of Ekalte. Not surprisingly, the Lu₂ fragment is closely related to the lists of professions from Emar.
