A Fragment of a Synchronistic King List (Ass 11338)

A tiny fragment of a clay tablet (Ass 11338) with a copy of a Synchronistic King List [http://www.livius.org/k/kinglist/synchronic.html] was discovered during the twentieth-century German excavations at Ashur. The original tablet's format is similar to that of Ass 14616c [/riao/kinglists/synchronistickinglist/index.html]; the obverse and reverse each contained two columns, each of which had two sub-columns. In this version of the Synchronistic King List [http://www.livius.org/k/kinglist/synchronic.html], the names of the Babylonian kings appear in the left sub-column, while those of the Assyrian kings are given in the right sub-column.
