It is probable that the third and last king of the dynasty, Širikti-Šuqamuna, was killed or deposed since his reign lasted only a total of three months (985 BC) and since the man who ruled over Babylonia after him (Mār-bīti-apla-uṣur [http://oracc.museum.upenn.edu/ribo/babylon5/rulers/marbitiaplausur/index.html]) is reported to have come from a different, foreign dynasty. According to the so-called "Šamaš-šuma-ukīn Chronicle," he was the brother of a certain Nabû-kudurrī-uṣur, which is assumed to have been a scribal error for his immediate predecessor Ninurta-kudurrī-uṣur I [http://oracc.museum.upenn.edu/ribo/babylon4/rulers/ninurtakudurriusuri/index.html]. Given Širikti-Šuqamuna's brief stint as king, it is not surprising that no official inscriptions written in his name are known.
