A 01-01

Six duplicates of the same text are engraved in the walls of the so-called Sardursburg, which is called Madır Burcu by locals. Three duplicates (A, B, C) are engraved in blocks at the western side of the castle, the other duplicates (D, E, F) at the eastern side which were discovered in 1959.

A 1-2

A 01-02

Stone inscription of cultic contents written in the Assyrian language, only very fragmentarily preserved, engraved in a recess in the south of Van Kalesi. In the legible part of the inscription, neither the names of rulers nor divine names are mentioned. However, the location of the inscription not far away from "Sardur's Castle" and the fact that it is, similar to A 01-01, composed in the Assyrian language strongly point towards Sarduri as its author.
