ePSD2 uses a simple morphological model for parsing Sumerian which was created by Fumi Karahashi and Steve Tinney for a prior project, the Penn Parsed Corpus of Sumerian.
The notations are intended to be simple for machine parsing and to be sufficient as a finding aid for the morphology without manual correction.
There is a tabulation of the morphemes we use as well as brief set of explanations of the model.
