1023

The two stone fragments listed as texts nos. 1023 and 1024 may be duplicates, however not enough was preserved for this to be certain and they are listed separately. Both objects were found at Nineveh and belong to approximately this period, although of course it is not possible to link them definitively to Tiglath-pileser I. The object was not available for study so no edition is given here.

This small brick bears a brief text which dedicates it to the goddess Tašmētu and was found at Ashur. The dedicator, the scribe Aššur-išmânni, is attested as an Umu during the reign of Tiglath-pileser I (see Saporetti, Eponimi p.160). The brick has not been found.
