Texts by Dated Eponyms Attributed to the Reign of Aššur-etel-ilāni (630–627 BC)

The exact sequence of eponyms for the short reign of Aššur-etel-ilāni (630–627 BC), Ashurbanipal's immediate successor, is unknown and, thus, every person who has attempted to order the eponyms has his/her own sequence. The chart below compares the arrangement of the post-canonical eponyms for the years 630–627 BC suggested by M. Falkner (AfO 17 [1954–56] pp. 100–120), S. Parpola (PNA 1/1 pp. XVIII–XIX), and J.E. Reade (Orientalia NS 67 [1998] pp. 255–265).
